Expected pay for this position is $62.64 - $83.00/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
Overview:
The Director of Specialty Accounting oversees specialty areas of accounting including but not limited to net revenue, tax, insurance, accounting systems, and other receivables. Manages the Specialty Accounting group to key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs). Works collaboratively and maintains strong relationships throughout OSF HealthCare.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Specialty Accounting oversees specialty areas of accounting including but not limited to net revenue, tax, insurance, accounting systems, and other receivables. Manages the Specialty Accounting group to key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs). Works collaboratively and maintains strong relationships throughout OSF HealthCare.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business
Experience:
- 7 years of accounting experience which includes
- 5 years of healthcare accounting experience and 2 years of public accounting experience.
- 3 years of leadership experience
- Successful completion of Certified Public Accounting (CPA), or Certified Managerial Accounting (CMA) exam.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Master’s degree in accounting, finance or business
