About the Role
We’re looking for an exceptional collaborator to join our team as Director, Strategic Planning. In this role, you will plan and direct all strategic, administrative, financial, and operational activities for the Client Success Function. This role leads the Client Success Center of Excellence (COE) to drive strategic initiatives, practice excellence, continuous improvement, and optimize processes across the function. This role acts as a point of contact or gatekeeper between senior leadership and other stakeholders through organizing and prioritizing critical issues and required information for the executive to facilitate efficient decision making and provides insight and guidance to projects of high importance.
What You’ll Do

Accountable for collaborating with senior leadership to determine and prioritize business strategies for a complex set of programs and critical initiatives and for maintaining alignment and identifying interdependencies between all program level work efforts.

Collaborate with various business partners, cross functional teams, and key stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate and on budget implementation of initiatives and business priorities supporting the BSC and annual strategic and financial plans.

Manage and oversee products/programs and implement tools/enhancements to ensure new strategies are successfully developed and implemented as agreed on with business owners.

Review and support the development of comprehensive business cases to support new program opportunities/enhancements and weigh in on key performance indicators and metrics.

Develop and deliver executive level and board level presentations, articulating the business objectives, project/program/business unit progress, challenges, and successes in meeting stated objectives.

Collaborates and interacts with all areas impacted by the business change including business line executives and leaders, vendors, internal technology resources, and other departments.

Operates as a confidant to the VP on a variety of issues including highly sensitive and confidential situations and is a truth teller who can be direct and transparent as appropriate.

Work with VP to define strategic planning goals and objectives and oversee end-to-end execution on planning process as directed and run the annual strategic planning process.

Lead and manage special projects that include cross-functional and matrixed individuals from development to execution.

Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement with an eye to working smarter, recommends alternatives or changes to practices and processes, and influences and/or leads successful change implementation and business case realization.
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required (Business, Finance, Strategy or Sales related field).

10+ years of experience in managing projects, initiatives and people with senior-level relationship management (line & management).

7+ years of full life cycle program development experience related to enterprise solutions.

Strong process orientation, demonstrated resource management and initiatives experience, and the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

Demonstrated record of leadership, management, and technical success with enterprise initiatives.

Strong analytical, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
-
10+ years of experience in large account service management with a focus in Financial Services, Fleet Management, or other similar industries.

Strong familiarity with project management tools, practices and techniques; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Knowledge and exposure to Six Sigma, Lean, Project Management or other best practice frameworks.

Superior negotiation, coordination, and conflict resolution skills.

Strong technical aptitude and the ability and willingness to learn new enterprise solutions.

Ability to work across organizational boundaries to solve complex business issues.

Current Location: Hopkins, MN
The hiring base salary range for this position is $124,600 to $171,400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
