Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Own and govern the Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BCP) strategy across on prem, cloud, and hybrid environments
• Define, maintain, and validate RTO/RPO for critical applications and infrastructure
• Plan, execute, and manage DR drills, failover/failback tests, and live recovery events
• Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and risk assessments to identify recovery gaps
• Coordinate with infrastructure, application, network, security, and business teams during DR events
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and governance requirements (especially BFSI)
• Manage DR documentation, runbooks, and recovery playbooks
• Drive continuous improvement through post incident reviews and lessons learned
• Manage third party DR vendors and cloud service providers
• Report DR readiness, risks, and KPIs to senior leadership

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and IT Resilience frameworks
• Experience managing DR for critical banking / financial applications (preferred)
• Strong understanding of ITSM (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
• Ability to lead crisis situations and coordinate cross functional teams
