Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently throughout each shift
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including sorting ingredients or preparing simple items under supervision
• Support food service staff by bussing tables and clearing plates during busy service periods
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and chemicals are used safely according to established protocols
• Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and uphold health standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely dishwashing during peak hours and assist with catering or banquet setups when required

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, catering, or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are highly valued
• Familiarity with basic kitchen operations such as bussing or food preparation is a plus
• Experience in banquet settings or large-scale catering can be advantageous but is not required
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong commitment to cleanliness, safety, and teamwork in a hospitality setting
