The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas. This role ensures smooth kitchen operations by providing clean dishes and supporting the kitchen team in maintaining hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and kitchen equipment.
  • Operate dishwashing machines properly and safely.
  • Ensure all items are cleaned, sanitized, and stored correctly.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste and maintain garbage areas.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen floors, walls, and workstations.
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning tasks as needed.
  • Monitor and refill cleaning supplies.
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
  • Previous experience in restaurant or hotel kitchen is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards.
