Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently throughout the shift
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as sorting ingredients or preparing supplies for service when needed
• Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware and equipment are spotless and ready for use
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
• Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure safety standards are met
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service times
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper disposal of waste and cleaning chemicals

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
• Familiarity with basic kitchen tasks such as bussing tables or assisting with food prep is a plus
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
• Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization standards
• Knowledge of food handling safety practices is advantageous
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting
• Prior banquet, catering, or hotel experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory
