Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing stations, food prep zones, and dining surfaces, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently to support daily operations.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning items under supervision.
• Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely delivery of prepared items.
• Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to maintain a clean and inviting atmosphere for guests.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with basic food preparation techniques and kitchen safety protocols.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or equipment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving others.
• Knowledge of food handling regulations and sanitation practices is a plus.
