Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep professional, where your energy and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming kitchen environment. In this role, you will support the culinary team by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are spotless and ready for service. You will also assist with food preparation tasks to help deliver high-quality meals in a fast-paced setting. Your dedication to cleanliness, food safety, and teamwork will contribute directly to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment thoroughly and efficiently to uphold sanitation standards
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning items for service
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
• Support catering and banquet events by preparing food items and ensuring all serving ware is clean and organized
• Busing tables and clearing plates during meal service to ensure a smooth flow of operations
• Follow food handling safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet the demands of busy service periods while maintaining a positive attitude

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation standards necessary for maintaining a safe kitchen environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or equipment
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting fellow staff members
• Basic culinary skills or experience in food preparation are advantageous but not required
• Familiarity with cleaning procedures and attention to detail in maintaining hygiene standards
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
