Dishwasher/Prep Cook

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in a vibrant kitchen environment. This role is essential in ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Duties

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, cooking, and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly after use.
• Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
• Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas as needed to support the front-of-house staff.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work surfaces.
• Support the overall hospitality experience by maintaining a positive attitude and assisting team members as necessary.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and safety protocols is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while demonstrating strong communication skills.
• A passion for cooking and providing excellent service in a hospitality setting will be highly regarded.
