Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatch Coordinator to join our remote operations team.

As a Dispatch Coordinator (Pharmacy Operations), you will manage the end-to-end dispatch process, ensuring medications move from the pharmacy to facilities seamlessly. You’ll monitor order queues, optimize delivery routes, coordinate with drivers, and resolve logistical challenges in real time — all while maintaining accurate documentation and clear communication with healthcare facilities and internal teams.

Requirements

What you'll do

Monitor order queues and organize incoming prescription requests efficiently for dispatch.
Plan and optimize delivery routes based on urgency, geography, and facility needs.
Coordinate with drivers to provide route details, updates, and real-time support.
Verify orders and confirm patient and facility details for accuracy prior to dispatch.
Track delivery progress and proactively address any delays or route deviations.
Resolve operational issues such as address discrepancies, missing items, or reroutes promptly.
Collaborate remotely with pharmacy, logistics, and customer success teams to ensure seamless execution.
Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and uphold high operational accuracy standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in operations, logistics, or healthcare support.
Strong communication and coordination skills, especially in remote team settings.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent problem-solving and time management skills under pressure.
Familiarity with dispatch, route planning, or fleet management tools.
Experience in pharmacy operations, healthcare logistics, or delivery coordination (preferred).
