DISPATCH COORDINATOR

Location: Long Beach, CA

Job Type: Full-Time or Part‑Time, Non‑Exempt

Schedule: Flexible schedule required, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Compensation: Starting at $16.90 per hour

Job Summary

The Dispatch Coordinator oversees daily delivery logistics, ensuring all cannabis deliveries are accurate, compliant, and executed on time. This role coordinates driver assignments, verifies order accuracy, maintains delivery documentation, and supports METRC transfers related to delivery operations. The Dispatch Coordinator plays a key role in customer satisfaction, compliance, and operational flow.

Essential Job Functions

Delivery Coordination & Logistics

• Assign delivery routes and orders to drivers.
• Verify order accuracy, compliance, and packaging before dispatch.
• Track driver status, delivery progress, and route completion.
• Communicate with customers and drivers to ensure smooth delivery operations.

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain delivery logs, manifests, and compliance documentation.
• Support METRC transfers for delivery orders.
• Ensure all deliveries follow state and local cannabis regulations.
• Assist with daily reconciliations and dispatch reporting.

Operational Support

• Collaborate with Sales, Inventory, and Delivery teams.
• Report delivery issues, delays, or discrepancies to management.
• Support dispatch operations during audits or inspections.

Delivery Manager and Operations Manager

Working Conditions

• Fast‑paced retail and logistics environment.
• Regular use of computers, phones, radios, and tracking systems.
• Flex schedule required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must pass all required background checks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in dispatch, logistics, or cannabis delivery.
• Familiarity with METRC or cannabis compliance.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
