Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch Operations
- Plan and execute daily dispatches as per delivery schedules.
- Ensure correct material, quantity, and packing as per dispatch instructions.
- Coordinate with production, stores, and logistics teams for material readiness.
- Documentation
- Prepare and verify dispatch documents such as:
- Delivery Challan
- Tax Invoice / E-Way Bill
- Packing List
- LR / Transport documents
- Maintain dispatch registers and system entries (ERP / Excel).
- Packing & Loading
- Ensure proper packing, labeling, and palletizing of materials.
- Supervise loading/unloading to avoid damage or shortages.
- Ensure safety norms are followed during material handling.
- Coordination with Transporters
- Coordinate with transporters, drivers, and courier services.
- Track dispatched materials and follow up for timely delivery.
- Handle transporter bills and delivery acknowledgements (POD).
- Inventory & Compliance
- Update stock movement and dispatch records accurately.
- Report shortages, damages, or mismatches immediately.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, GST, and statutory requirements.
- Customer & Internal Communication
- Inform customers or internal departments about dispatch status.
- Resolve dispatch-related issues, delays, or complaints.
