Dispatch Lead (mandarin required)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of trucks.
• Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) to optimize routing and enhance efficiency.
• Manage transportation planning and logistics to meet customer demands while adhering to safety regulations.
• Analyze data related to dispatching processes to identify trends and improve service quality.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to coordinate shipments.
• Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, including data entry into Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine systems.
• Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing excellent phone etiquette during all communications.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure alignment on shipping schedules and inventory management.

Requirement:

• Fluent in both English and Mandarin
• Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
• Experience with transportation management systems and fleet management software.
• Proficiency in AS400 or similar platforms for tracking shipments.
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes within a logistics environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
