Dispatch Supervisor

Job Summary

The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising daily dispatch operations to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of goods. The role includes managing dispatch staff, maintaining records, coordinating with production, stores, transporters, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and supervise daily dispatch schedules as per delivery commitments

Coordinate with Production, Stores, and Sales teams for material readiness

Ensure proper packing, labeling, and loading of finished goods

Verify dispatch documents (Invoice, E-way Bill, LR, Packing List, Challan)

Monitor vehicle placement, loading, and on-time dispatch

Manage and guide dispatch staff, loaders, and helpers

Maintain dispatch registers, MIS reports, and delivery records

Coordinate with transporters and resolve dispatch-related issues

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company SOPs

Handle shortages, damages, or dispatch discrepancies

Maintain cleanliness and discipline in the dispatch area

Skills & Competencies

Good knowledge of dispatch & logistics operations

Basic understanding of GST, E-way bills, and transport documentation

Strong coordination and communication skills

Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines

Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP, Tally – preferred)

Team handling and leadership skills

Qualification & Experience

Education: Graduate / Diploma (Any stream preferred)

Experience: 3–6 years in dispatch/logistics supervision (Manufacturing preferred)

Dispatch accuracy (no shortages or wrong deliveries)

Documentation compliance

Vehicle turnaround time

Team efficiency and discipline

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,332.12 - ₹28,868.18 per month
