Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of biomass materials and finished products.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and support the company’s renewable energy objectives.
  • Manage warehousing operations, ensuring proper inventory flow, storage, and stock accuracy to meet production and sales requirements.
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align logistics activities with business priorities and operational goals.
  • Negotiate and finalize freight contracts, ensuring cost optimization and adherence to quality and service standards.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with logistics vendors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and performance benchmarks.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards in all logistics and warehousing activities.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Support the Plant Head in achieving operational excellence and contributing to the overall success of the biomass energy business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably within the renewable energy or manufacturing sector.
