Responsibilities

Oversee and manage inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of biomass materials and finished products.
Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and support the company’s renewable energy objectives.
Manage warehousing operations, ensuring proper inventory flow, storage, and stock accuracy to meet production and sales requirements.
Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align logistics activities with business priorities and operational goals.
Negotiate and finalize freight contracts, ensuring cost optimization and adherence to quality and service standards.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with logistics vendors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and performance benchmarks.
Monitor and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards in all logistics and warehousing activities.
Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
Support the Plant Head in achieving operational excellence and contributing to the overall success of the biomass energy business.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
5–10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably within the renewable energy or manufacturing sector.
