Purchase Executive

Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to assist our procurement and inward logistics operations. The role will involve managing the inward flow of raw materials and purchased items, coordinating with courier services, conducting physical verifications, visiting local markets for urgent procurement, and maintaining proper documentation and storage of samples used in production and R&D.

Key Responsibilities:

Inward Logistics & Material Receipt

• Collect raw materials and purchase items from courier partners or logistics hubs.
• Physically receive and inspect materials delivered to the factory.
• Cross-check received quantity with invoice and PO, and report discrepancies immediately.
• Ensure accurate documentation for each inward transaction.

Local Market Procurement

• Visit local suppliers or markets to procure urgent or locally sourced inventory items.
• Negotiate prices and ensure quality before purchase.
• Maintain proper records and submit bills/invoices for locally procured items.

Sample Management

• Maintain and organize purchased samples used in production testing or R&D trials.
• Label and safely store retain samples from every batch of received inventory for traceability.
• Ensure sample records are updated and samples are accessible for quality verification.

Coordination & Support

• Work closely with the purchase, quality, production, and R&D teams to align material and sample flow.
• Assist in maintaining inventory records in Excel/ERP system.
• Help in physical stock checks and audits as required.

Requirements:

• Students or recent graduates in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or related fields.
• Comfortable with fieldwork and physical handling of materials.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work across teams.
• Familiarity with MS Excel / Google Sheets is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with standard working hours i.e. 09 AM - 6 PM, Monday to Saturday.

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
