Position Overview

The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for managing daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of finished goods to distributors, depots, and customers. The role focuses on inventory accuracy, documentation compliance, vehicle coordination, and maintaining dispatch efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

*Dispatch Operations

Plan and supervise daily dispatch activities.

Ensure timely loading of vehicles as per delivery schedule.

Verify finished goods against sales orders and invoices.

Ensure proper stacking and safe loading of cartons.

* Inventory & Stock Control

Maintain accurate finished goods stock records.

Coordinate with production team for FG transfer.

Monitor FIFO implementation.

Conduct daily stock reconciliation.

* Documentation & Compliance

Prepare and verify dispatch documents (Invoice, E-way bill, Delivery Challan).

Maintain GRN, LR copies, and transporter documents.

Ensure compliance with GST and transport regulations.

Maintain dispatch register and reports.

* Coordination

Coordinate with Sales, Production, and Accounts departments.

Communicate with transporters for vehicle placement.

Handle urgent and priority dispatches.

Resolve dispatch-related discrepancies.

* Team Supervision

Supervise loaders and dispatch staff.

Allocate daily work responsibilities.

Ensure discipline and safety compliance.

Train team members on SOPs.

* Safety & Housekeeping

Ensure warehouse cleanliness.

Monitor safe material handling practices.

Implement fire and safety norms.

* Required Skills

Strong knowledge of dispatch & warehouse operations.

Understanding of FMCG distribution systems.

Knowledge of GST documentation & E-way bill.

Good leadership & coordination skills.

Basic ERP / Inventory software knowledge.

Ability to work under pressure.

* Qualification & Experience

Graduate (B.Com / BBA preferred)

3–6 years experience in FMCG dispatch / warehouse

Experience in food or namkeen industry preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
