Key Accountabilities:

Supervise, allocate, and monitor daily dispatch activities to ensure on-time, accurate, and efficient delivery of customer orders.

Review and approve dispatch documentation (delivery notes, manifests, proof of delivery) prepared by the team to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Develop and assign delivery routes and schedules for drivers, ensuring optimal fleet utilization and cost efficiency.

Track and monitor dispatch performance in real-time, resolving escalated delivery issues, customer complaints, or operational bottlenecks.

Monitor and report on dispatch KPIs (on-time delivery, transport cost, vehicle turnaround time, re-delivery rates) and propose corrective actions.

Collaborate with warehouse, production planning, sales, and customer service teams to align dispatch schedules with inventory readiness and customer requirements.

Lead, coach, and evaluate the performance of dispatch staff and drivers, providing training and guidance to improve operational capability.

Implement and monitor the use of route optimization tools, GPS tracking, and ERP/TMS systems for improved efficiency and transparency.

Ensure full compliance with QHSE standards, traffic laws, and internal transport policies.

Support continuous improvement initiatives, introducing new practices or technologies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer service levels.

Conduct regular quality assessments, inspections, and audits of products or services before they are dispatched to ensure they meet the company standards.

Improve quality control plans and procedures to guide dispatch operations.

Collect, analyze, and report on data from quality inspections and other activities to identify areas for improvement and track product metrics.

Investigate quality issues or defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions/time frame to resolve them.

• Maintain accurate records of quality inspections and findings, and ensure all operations comply with relevant industry standards.
Qualifications & Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

5 –7 years of experience in logistics or dispatch operations, with experience in Quality Control, is highly preferred.
