Naxape is looking for a high-energy, results-driven
Business Development Executive
to manage and scale our presence on freelance platforms (e.g., Upwork). This role is perfect for a competitive professional who thrives on lead generation, proposal writing, and closing deals. You will act as the face of our company, responsible for identifying high-value opportunities, managing our profile reputation, and converting prospects into long-term clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Freelance Platform Management:
Expertly manage and optimize our presence on platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, and others.

Lead Generation & Bidding:
Proactively identify relevant project postings and craft compelling, high-converting proposals that secure interviews.

Sales Lifecycle:
Handle the full sales funnel from initial outreach and lead qualification to closing the deal.

Profile Optimization:
Actively nurture our agency/freelancer profiles, maintaining top-rated status and gathering client testimonials.
Required Qualifications & Skills:

Proven Track Record:
4+ years of experience in B2B sales, specifically with a focus on freelancing platforms (Upwork experience is a major plus).

Winning Proposal Writing:
Exceptional English writing skills with the ability to tailor proposals to individual client needs (no copy-pasting).

Technical Literacy:
Should have familiarity with IT terminology and the SDLC. You should be able to discuss
MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js), PHP, and Python
with potential clients.

Strategic Opportunity Hunting:
Ability to identify and bid on diverse project types, including:

Greenfield Projects:
Building from scratch (Small to Large scale).

Support & Extensions:
Adding features to existing codebases.

"Savior" Services:
Taking over distressed projects, debugging, and providing recovery solutions.

Startup Mindset:
Experience working with (or for) IT startups, understanding the need for agility, rapid response, and high-quality lead qualification.

Ability to explain

a specific stack or server setup is right for the client's business goals.
Key Responsibilities (Technical focus)

Identify "at-risk" projects on platforms where our team can provide "savior" support.

Manage the transition from a closed deal to the technical kickoff, ensuring the dev team has a clear roadmap.

Strong negotiation skills and a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
