Dispatcher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in day-to-day execution of delivery operations. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Dispatcher will utilize various technologies to optimize routes and enhance operational efficiency.

Duties

• Troubleshoot delivery issues, update route data and escalate concerns as appropriate.
• Monitor fleet operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with drivers, amazon staff, and other coworkers
• Oversee morning/afternoon operations to ensure all drivers depart on time and with complete route assignments.
• Maintain accurate logs od dispatch (Excel, Chime, Netradyne)
• Provide exceptional customer service by demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Maintain visibility on key delivery metrics including route completion, on-time delivery rate and rescues.
• Identify underperformance trends and provide real-time coaching or escalate to management.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess logistics challenges effectively.
• Experience in dispatching within the Amazon Logistics is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with fleet management practices and shipping & receiving processes.
• Ability to type efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this role.
