Position Overview:

As a Weekend Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in helping us manage our trucking operations smoothly over the weekend. Your expertise in trucking and logistics will ensure timely deliveries and efficient communication with our drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage dispatch operations from 10 PM to 10 AM on Saturdays and Sundays.

- Coordinate with drivers to confirm pickup and delivery schedules.

- Monitor vehicle locations using GPS tracking systems.

- Communicate effectively with drivers to provide updates and address any issues that arise.

- Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions.

- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all dispatch activities.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in trucking and logistics is required.

- Strong understanding of dispatching processes and transportation regulations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficient in using logistics software and GPS tracking applications.

- Flexibility to handle unexpected changes or issues as they arise.
