DISPATCHER

The dispatcher will be responsible for scheduling service, communicating with drivers, resolving service issues, and will receive incoming calls from customers with service requests. This person must have excellent computer skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time. Must also be able to communicate effectively and professionally via email, telephone and 2-way devices.

Duties:

1. Assign route and service tickets to drivers.

2. Manage and determine routing and assuring route completion.

3. Maintain contact between drivers and home base.

4. Troubleshoot and resolve potential delivery and pick-up problems before they result in service issues.

5. Effectively communicate with drivers and customers to ensure customer satisfaction.

6. Answer incoming calls and provide requested route information and/or follow up.

7. Communicate with maintenance personnel and serve as emergency point of contact to drivers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
