We are seeking a Towing Dispatcher to coordinate driver activity, support customers, and ensure efficient day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities
Monitor and coordinate driver activity and assignments using communication devices.- Maintain real-time status and locations of all drivers.
- Utilize computers, radio systems, telephones, fax machines, and other communication equipment.
- Accurately access and enter data into Intow immediately as calls come in.
- Answer all inbound calls in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner must answer within 3 rings or less.
- For all non-law enforcement calls, provide drivers with all required information, including:
- Customer name
- Call-back number
- Vehicle year, make, model, and color
- Breakdown location (including county and state when needed)
- Direction of travel
- Tow destination
- Reason for tow
- Method of payment
- Enter special instructions in Drivers Notes and all additional details in Dispatch Notes.
- Understand all pricing structures: charge accounts, COD customers, PI customers, and law enforcement tows.
- Assist Customer Service with releases, lot visits, and phone calls as needed.
- Support billing and collections when required.
- Perform filing duties during shift.
- Handle cash register and complete all end-of-shift responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Previous dispatching experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Comfortable working with multiple technology platforms.
