Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will coordinate the scheduling and routing of shipments, manage communication with drivers and clients, and ensure timely delivery of materials. Your expertise in transportation management systems and logistics will help streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all warehouse deliveries in a productive and efficient manner using delivery/dispatch software
• Interact with sales staff and customers to ensure a quality delivery process
• All manner of invoicing
• Coordinate with Mill Foreman to schedule door building needs
• Route all deliveries
• Assist with inventory

Requirements

• 1-3 Years of experience in similar field
• Candidate must be customer service oriented
• Candidate must have strong leadership skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read and write
• Candidate must be organized and maintain a high accuracy level
• Must be dependable and motivated
• Must be able to read and understand a tape measure
• Previous experience with Microsoft Office programs preferred

Equipment/Software/Technology used:

• Frequent use of BisTrack
• Frequent use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Frequent use of E-Mail
• Frequent use of office equipment (printers, copiers, scanner, calculator, phone system, etc.)
• Occasional use of forklift

Essential physical and mental functions:

• Candidate must be able to handle stressful situation in a professional manner
• Candidate must be able to multi-task and prioritize
• Candidate must be able to operate a forklift safely

Working Conditions:

Combination of indoor, temperature controlled environment and outdoor weather including cold, heat, rain, wind, snow, ice, etc.

Safety Requirements:

All employees are expected to adhere to the safety regulations set forth by OSHA and company policies. This may include, but is not limited to; eye protection in plants, hardhats outdoors, seat belts worn in all company vehicles, limited cell phone use and regular safety training.

Management reserves the right to assign or reassign duties as needed.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
