Dispatcher

Safeway Transportation is a progressive, forward-looking company that's setting a new standard in the school transportation industry. We are expanding in the area and seeking a top-notch dispatcher.

Experience in student transportation is required.
Salary is negotiable based on experience.

The responsibilities are as follows:

• Support and respond to driver and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Assure all routes are filled as assigned, and drivers are provided with accurate instructions
• Adapt and utilize transportation and logistics technology
• Act as liaison between the driver and emergency services
• Create daily reports and perform clerical duties as needed
• Ability to quickly communicate and collaborate with various areas of the team to create the Safeway difference.
• Customer service with employees and school representatives
• Work in a fast paced environment
• Phone Etiquette
• Transportation experience preferred

Bilingual (English and Spanish) candidates are a plus.
