Dispatcher

We are looking to hire a dispatcher. We have expanded our fleet and need more office support! We are seeking an individual who is detail-oriented and can work in a fast-paced environment. The dispatcher will be responsible for:

• Obtaining and scheduling loads for all drivers
• Obtaining appointments for customer loads
• Load planning and logistics
• Dispatching drivers
• Communication with drivers, office, shop, brokers, and customers via phone and email throughout the day
• Dealing with any issues that come up with loads throughout the day/week
• Keeping accurate records of driver movements/loads
• Making sure all customer loads are getting covered

The ideal candidate will have: Prior experience in the trucking industry and preferably in dispatch, knowledge of HOS and DOT regulations, ability to handle a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task, ability to learn several software programs.

Hours are 8am-5pm EST Monday-Friday. Benefits include PTO, weekly pay, simple IRA 3% match, with Health, Vision, Dental and other insurance available. Pay based on experience. If interested, please email a resume to hrsafety@silverdollartransport.com
