Dispatcher

Job Description:

A plumbing dispatcher manages the daily schedule for technicians, acting as the primary hub between customers and field staff. Key duties include answering service calls, scheduling and dispatching plumbers, optimizing routes, maintaining customer databases, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. They must remain calm under pressure, handle emergency calls, and track technician progress.

Key Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Scheduling and Dispatching: Assigning service calls to the appropriate technicians based on skills, location, and availability to maximize efficiency.
• Customer Communication: Responding to inquiries, scheduling appointments, providing arrival time updates, and resolving customer issues.
• Technician Support: Providing technicians with necessary job details and special instructions.
• Data Management: Maintaining accurate customer databases, tracking service histories, and updating records in real-time.
• Documentation and Billing: Reviewing completed work orders and assisting with invoicing.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
