Dispatcher

Lin Mar Towing is looking to hire a full time dispatcher. We provide 24/7/365 emergency towing & recovery services to several local & state police departments. We have hundreds of commercial trucking companies that call us as well. We are very busy and its very fast paced, you must be able to multi task. Shift is from 3pm-11pm We will provide training. Previous dispatch experience is preferred but not required. I cannot stress enough how fast paced this environment is. You are working in an emergency call center where people need our help ASAP. You must be able to dispatch drivers accordingly and efficiently. This is for the afternoon shift.

• Must be able to multi task
• Provide excellent customer service
• Taking calls and sending drivers on calls
• The ability to priortize calls
• Able to make your own decision/judgement call
• Releasing vehicles at the dispatch window
• Keeping track of call logs & paperwork
• Ability to work every other Saturday
• Types of calls include Police departments
• Local trucking companies
• The general public
• State police

Job Type: Full-time
