Griffin Truck Lines is looking for a sharp, organized, get-it-done Dispatch Coordinator to help keep our trucks moving, our drivers supported, and our customers taken care of.

This is not a sit-back-and-watch-the-day-go-by kind of job. We need someone who can juggle moving parts, think fast, solve problems, communicate clearly, and stay calm when the wheels are turning fast — literally.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate daily freight movement and driver schedules
• Communicate with drivers, customers, brokers, and internal team members
• Assign loads and ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
• Track shipments and proactively handle delays or service issues
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, load details, and communication logs
• Help drivers with routing, paperwork, and load information
• Work closely with billing, safety, and operations to keep everything flowing
• Solve problems quickly and professionally when plans change

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Logistics, trucking, dispatch, or transportation experience preferred
• Confidence making decisions and handling pressure
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn dispatch/load systems
• Attention to detail and follow-through
• Professional attitude with a team-first mindset
• Someone who can be firm, helpful, and dependable all at once

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience in trucking or freight brokerage
• Knowledge of routes, driver coordination, or load scheduling
• Experience working with owner-operators or fleet drivers
• Understanding of transportation paperwork and deadlines
