Job Description:

Tyler Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration is seeking a self-motivated HVAC Dispatcher for their office in Stratford, CT. The dispatcher will interact directly with customers and service technicians, ensuring high standards of customer service and facilitating prompt and accurate service.

Responsibilities:

  • Dispatch residential HVAC service efficiently and accurately utilizing various technology, including GPS, Service Titan, phone systems, and more.
  • Resolve scheduling issues and customer complaints
  • Continually update service writers with the availability of dates and time frames
  • Implement reschedules and limit the number of calls when necessary
  • Schedule technician training
  • Absorb and utilize industry technical knowledge
  • Manage and document technician sick days and vacation requests
  • Assist in covering branches and commercial dispatching.
  • Schedule vehicle repairs and oil changes
  • Perform dispatching duties for partner companies
  • Monitor schedule board and make changes as needed
  • Monitor emails for calls booked on the website and through Lucy
  • Ability to call supply houses with clear, concise information to order/follow up on parts orders
  • Audit service invoices in a timely manner for accounting
  • Keep the scheduling board up to date with absence, pto, etc.
  • First line of defense with helping techs troubleshoot service titan issues
  • Maintain on call schedule with Live Services and within Service titan
  • Handle customer complaints/feedback and escalate to appropriate person when necessary
  • Track and schedule follow up jobs when parts arrive


Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 or more years of customer service experience
  • Prior dispatch experience is preferred but not required

The starting hourly base wage for this position is $25.00 to $35.00. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education, which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
