Dispatcher

Summary

The qualified candidate will be responsible for dispatching trucks in and out of our facility.  Will also support the Vision, Mission, and Values of the Organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include the dispatching of live haul trucks, drivers, and forklifts; weighing trucks
• Communicating with live haul crews to coordinate the gathering of live chickens for transport to the processing plants.  
• Manage department paperwork, make sure live haul tickets are in order. 
• The qualified candidate will need to possess the ability to make important decisions and prioritize different tasks within department. 
• Handle phone systems for incoming and outgoing calls
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Education and/or Experience

• Previous experience in live haul dispatching preferred
• Experience in MTech preferred 

Knowledge/Skills

• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• Exceptional organizational, record keeping, and follow-up skills 
• Good telephone communication skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of computer applications 
• Excellent problem-solving skills. 
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
