Dispatcher

Operational Duties

• Coordinate and manage delivery routes efficiently.
• Maintain constant communication with drivers throughout shifts.
• Adjust delivery routes in collaboration with management to meet customer demands.
• Act as the main communication point via phone/radio with drivers and branches.
• Monitor and manage last-minute route changes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Ensure all dispatched orders meet menu quality and presentation standards.
• Verify that all items are correctly packed as per customer orders.
• Cross-check orders against invoices to avoid missing items.
• Build strong relationships with drivers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  
  

Financial Accountability

• Ensure all cash handling procedures are followed accurately.
• Safeguard company money at all times.
• Maintain basic awareness of profit and loss impact.
  
  

Health & Safety

• Comply with all restaurant licensing, fire, and health & safety regulations.
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
  
  

Communication

• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Communicate effectively with restaurant staff and external delivery partners.
  
  

Work Conditions

• Rotational shifts including weekends and public holidays.
• Physically demanding role.
• Combination of indoor and outdoor working conditions.
