We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our dynamic transportation team. Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily dispatch activities for freight and delivery vehicles using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine.
• Utilize GPS and GIS tools to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and improve transportation planning efficiency.
• Communicate clearly with drivers, carriers, warehouse staff, and clients via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette at all times.
• Enter data accurately into logistics platforms, including shipping & receiving records, fleet management systems, and AS400 databases.
• Monitor shipment statuses, troubleshoot delays or issues, and adjust dispatch plans accordingly to meet delivery deadlines.
• Collaborate with 3PL providers and internal teams to coordinate freight movements within the supply chain network.
• Maintain detailed logs of dispatch activities, incident reports, and inbound/outbound shipments for compliance and analysis purposes.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), Oracle Transportation Management, SyteLine, and AS400 platforms.
• Proficiency in GPS technology, GIS mapping, and transportation planning tools to enhance route efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally.
• Demonstrated analysis skills for evaluating logistics data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements.
• Experience with freight coordination, shipping & receiving procedures, and fleet management practices.
• Familiarity with supply chain concepts including 3PL logistics solutions and transportation planning strategies.
