Dispatcher

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch crane operators and support crew using Visual Dispatch software
• Communicate effectively with customers & sales personnel to acquire proper information to chart, quote, and schedule jobs
• Coordinate with other branches to maximize utilization of equipment & labor
• Coordinate with mechanics to ensure that repairs & maintenance are completed
• Line up rental related inspections, trucking permits, and street closure requirements
• Prepare field tickets for invoicing
• Communicate proper additional job equipment requirements to crew to be ready before departure.
• Assist in other activities and duties as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications

• Previous dispatch experience preferred
• Self-motivated
• Requires strong interpersonal, organizational, time management skills
• Able to plan, prioritize, problem-solve and adapt to change
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be reliable and flexible
• Full-time position with mandatory overtime as needed
• Requires being on-call after hours and on weekends
• Basic computer skills
