Dispatcher & Project Coordinator - Role Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and communicative Dispatcher & Project Coordinator to serve as the heartbeat of our daily operations. This role is responsible for the seamless coordination of our field technicians, managing both quick-turn service calls and the end-to-end lifecycle of new installations. You will ensure that every project—from the moment the parts are ordered to the final safety check—is executed on time and to our standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Scheduling: Manage the daily calendars for all service and installation technicians to maximize efficiency.
• Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee installation projects from start to finish. This includes tracking lead times on doors/parts, and confirming site readiness.
• Strategic Dispatching: Assign work orders based on technician skill level, geographic location, and job complexity.
• Resource Coordination: Monitor inventory and special-order statuses to ensure installations aren't scheduled until all materials are staged and ready.
• Customer Liaison: Act as the primary project contact for customers, providing updates on order status, delivery windows, and post-job follow-ups.
• Software Management: Utilize internal software to maintain real-time accuracy of job statuses, project notes, and technician schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in dispatch or project coordination (preferably in construction or home services) is strongly preferred.
• Multi-Tasking: Ability to manage 20+ moving parts at once without losing track of the small details.
• Tech-Savvy: High aptitude for learning new software and navigating digital project management tools quickly.
• Problem-Solving: A "find a way" attitude when parts are delayed or site conditions change.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills; able to keep both the customer and the internal team "in the loop" at all times.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
