Dispatcher

Job Summary
Harter's Disposal of MN is seeking a Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be reliable and organized individual who's main responsibility is to manage and coordinate the scheduling and routing of our hauling routes. This position will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and timely service, optimizing routes, and communicating effectively with drivers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and optimize daily routes for trash hauling trucks to ensure timely and efficient service
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing instructions, answering questions, and resolving any issues that arise during routes
• Address any disruptions or emergencies that may impact service, making adjustments to routes and schedules as needed
• Coordinate with delivery drivers to ensure timely delivery of products

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a logistics or transportation environment
• Proficiency with MS Office applications - including Word and Excel
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work on a variety of tasks in a diverse and active environment
