Responsible for coordinating and dispatching customer orders efficiently to ensure timely delivery and smooth daily operations. The role involves communicating with drivers, kitchen/store teams, and customers while monitoring order status, delivery timelines, and operational accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, process, and coordinate customer orders through POS/ERP systems, phone calls, or online platforms.
- Assign and dispatch orders to drivers/riders based on delivery location and priority.
- Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with kitchen, store, and operations teams to avoid delays and maintain service standards.
- Track driver movement and update customers regarding delivery status when required.
- Ensure all invoices, order details, and delivery records are accurate and properly maintained.
- Handle customer concerns related to delayed or incorrect orders and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain communication with drivers and operations teams throughout shifts.
- Prepare daily dispatch and delivery reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and hygiene/safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, order management, or F&B operations.
- Experience working with POS or ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good knowledge of delivery operations and route coordination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
