Dispatcher – Regional Truckload Carrier

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Dispatcher to manage the schedules and routes of 15-20 drivers. The ideal candidate will excel in optimizing performance metrics and efficiency, maintaining clear communication with customers, drivers, and office personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driver Schedule Management: Oversee and adjust driver schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

• Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with customers, drivers, and other office personnel, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.

• Coordination: Collaborate with our "city" operation team to coordinate local pickups and deliveries.

• Issue Resolution: Proactively manage and resolve shipment and driver-related issues as they arise.

• Administrative Tasks: Prioritize and manage incoming calls and emails, and accurately collect and document shipment details from drivers.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of truckload dispatching experience.

• Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Reliability: Dependable with a professional demeanor, able to act calmly under pressure.

• Knowledge: General geographical knowledge of Ohio and surrounding areas.

• Technical Proficiency: Basic experience with data entry and Microsoft Outlook.

• Communication: Excellent phone skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $52,000 - $62,400, depending on qualifications and experience.
