Dispatcher/Customer Service

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dispatcher to coordinate towing, transportation and Battery Techs operations within our network. The ideal candidate will manage incoming call movements, communicate effectively with drivers and clients, and utilize transportation management systems to ensure timely deliveries. This role is vital in optimizing fleet utilization, maintaining accurate data entry, and supporting overall transportation planning. The Dispatcher will play a key role in ensuring daily processes and maintaining high standards of communication and efficiency across all activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule incoming calls using management systems.
• Utilize GPS tools for route planning, tracking, and optimization to enhance transportation efficiency.
• Manage dispatching activities for fleet management, including assigning drivers, monitoring vehicle locations, and adjusting routes as needed.
• Oversee call order operations, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing in each call.
• Maintain data entry accuracy in log book and software platforms.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, members, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems while demonstrating professional phone etiquette.
• Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for process improvements.

Skills

• Proficiency in call volume and transportation management.
• Strong knowledge of GPS technology, and transportation planning tools.
• Experience in call center, fleet management, and dispatching processes.
• Excellent analysis skills for route optimization and operational improvements.
• Effective dispatching skills combined with strong communication abilities and phone etiquette.
• Data entry expertise with dispatching software platforms
• Ability to multitask effectively using multi-line phone systems while maintaining professionalism.
• Knowledge of automotive and transportation management best practices.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
