Job Purpose

The Dispatching Supervisor oversees and coordinates all daily dispatch activities for the Food & Beverage operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of products, raw materials, and inter-branch transfers. The role ensures proper scheduling of drivers, vehicle utilization, and compliance with food safety and company standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Dispatch & Logistics Coordination

• Plan, schedule, and monitor daily delivery and pickup routes for all drivers.
• Allocate drivers and vehicles based on operational requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery to restaurants, catering sites, central kitchen, and suppliers.
• Track vehicle movement using GPS systems and update delivery status in real time.

2. Communication & Coordination

• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Restaurant teams for dispatch requirements.
• Communicate delivery schedules and any delays or changes to concerned departments.
• Handle urgent dispatch requests and adjust plans accordingly.

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Ensure all dispatch documents (DNs, invoices, transfer notes, temperature logs) are accurately prepared.
• Maintain daily dispatch records and driver performance logs.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch reports.

4. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure vehicles comply with food safety standards, hygiene requirements, and temperature control.
• Implement and monitor compliance with company SOPs and Qatar regulatory standards.
• Ensure all drivers follow safe driving and food handling guidelines.

5. Team Management

• Supervise, guide, and evaluate drivers and dispatch assistants.
• Conduct briefings and daily lineup updates for dispatch team.
• Support HR in scheduling shifts, leave planning, and performance appraisal.

6. Asset Management

• Monitor vehicle conditions, schedule preventive maintenance, and report repairs.
• Ensure availability of necessary equipment (iceboxes, thermal bags, PPE).
• Control usage of fuel and monitor fuel consumption reports

Pay: QAR1,800.00 - QAR2,100.00 per month
