This is a rare opportunity to lead dissertation coordination and research culture in one of Qatar's most exciting academic partnerships. 

About the Role

This is a strategic, hands-on academic leadership position responsible for overseeing dissertation and research activities across our Business, Management, and Finance programmes — at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The role also requires teaching business and management subjects at UG and PG levels.  

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full dissertation lifecycle — from supervisor allocation to final moderation 
• Lead and operate the QFBA-NU Research Ethics Committee 
• Deliver high-quality teaching in dissertation, research methods, and business and management related modules 
• Drive the implementation of QFBA-NU's research strategy and roadmap 
• Coordinate with Northumbria University in relation to dissertation processes including  quality assurance, ethical standards, and marking and moderation.  
• Support quality assurance processes including NCQAA accreditation  
• Design and deliver ethics training for staff and students

• Do you have PhD in Business, Management, or a closely related field? 
• Do you have 7–10 years of academic experience in a UK dissertation coordination role?  
• Do you have deep knowledge of Higher education quality standards?  
• Do you have proven expertise in academic research ethics? 
• Do you have strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills?  
• Do you have experience of managing an academic journal?
