Job Opportunity: Distribution Manager:
Location: I-10, Islamabad
Job Type: Full-time
Reporting Line: Reports directly to the COO / CEO
Position Objective:
The Distribution Manager will act as the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders while managing day-to-day sales, warehousing, and distribution operations. The role focuses on maximizing profitability through efficient resource utilization, strong compliance, and effective distribution management strategies that support overall organizational success.
Experience & Qualification:
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in sales
At least 5 years in a managerial role within the Food & Beverage industry is a must.
Proven track record of ensuring compliance, accountability, and successful rollout of sales operations
Qualification:
Master’s degree (preferably MBA) with specialization in Business Management, Sales, or Marketing
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and streamline administrative procedures and systems
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets
Evaluate sales team performance against targets set by management
Ensure profitable sales by monitoring discounts, margins, and gross profit
Monitor and improve sales force efficiency
Initiate corrective actions based on performance analysis to achieve business objectives
Conduct market surveys and in-person visits to assess market trends, competitor strategies, and new business opportunities
Maintain and enhance operating policies and procedures to ensure a healthy work environment
Ensure strict compliance with approved operational mechanisms
Maintain uninterrupted operations by ensuring availability of required resources and sales staff
Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and complaints
Coordinate daily inventory activities with the Store In-Charge and report abnormalities (short, expired, or damaged stock)
Manage market receivables and ensure they remain within management-approved limits
Prepare and submit accurate periodic and ad-hoc reports to management
Stay informed of market conditions and competitive landscape and regularly update management
