An employee in this job classification functions in a management capacity to supervise accounting professionals, and entry level accounting and support staff to ensure the accomplishment of assigned functions according to established schedules, calendars, projects, and programs of the department. Work includes researching and collecting highly complex data, preparing clear and concise financial reports, and monitoring expenditures and revenues of assigned divisions and/or departments. Performs related work as directed.Key Responsibilities:1. Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, payables, receivables, and bank reconciliations.2. Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.3. Prepare and review financial reports, MIS, and variance analysis for management.4. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.5. Manage the timely filing of GST, TDS, and income tax returns.6. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.7. Guide and supervise junior accountants and finance staff.8. Review their work for accuracy and completeness.9. Liaise with internal and external auditors; assist with audits and financial reviews.10. Address audit findings and implement corrective measures.11. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.12. Track actuals vs. budgets and report deviations.13. Identify areas for cost control and efficiency improvement.14. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, compliance, transparency, and efficiency in all financial matters while providing strategic financial support to the management.Key Requirements<ul><li>CA or ACCA qualified (preferred).</li><li>Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably with reputed organizations dealing in multiple domains.</li><li>Hands-on knowledge of IFRS, ERP systems, Taxation, and financial reporting.</li><li>Strong experience in financial management, internal controls, and statutory audits.</li><li>Ability to commute to Islamabad or willing to relocate.</li></ul>Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Oversee end-to-end financial management operations including cash management, fixed assets, accounts receivable and payable, monthly financial closing, and finalization of annual statutory audits.</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in line with the approved budget.
