Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Channel Development

  • Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for distribution channel.
  • Expand and maintain an active dealer network across major and emerging towns in Oman.
  • Identify and onboard new dealers, sub-dealers, and counter-level influencers.
  • Monitor dealer-wise product mix, pricing, margins, and rebates.
  • Conduct regular market visits to review display, pricing, stock, and competitor activity.
  • Ensure effective availability and visibility of Hayashi and Omex in top retail counters.

2. Team Leadership & Territory Management

  • Lead, coach, and supervise Area Sales Executives / Sales Representatives across all regions.
  • Assign territories, track daily call plans, route plans, productivity, and sales KPIs.
  • Conduct weekly performance reviews and skill development of sales team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, discipline, and result-orientation.

3. Collections & Credit Control

  • Ensure timely collections and reduction of overdue receivables as per company policy.
  • Review dealer credit limits periodically in alignment with Finance.
  • Resolve disputes, deductions, or return issues professionally and quickly.

4. Brand & Market Development (Pull Creation)

  • Implement demand-generation activities such as:
  • Electrician loyalty programs
  • In-store branding & displays
  • Product demos & training sessions
  • Counter-level promotions and schemes
  • Coordinate with Marketing team for brand promotions, catalogues, social media presence, and exhibitions.
  • Ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging across market touchpoints.

5. Data Reporting & Business Planning

  • Prepare and present monthly business dashboards: Sales vs Targets, Area Performance, Key Wins/Losses.
  • Forecast stocks with Supply Chain team to avoid shortages or overstock.
  • Analyze competitor pricing, new product launches, and market trends.
  • Provide feedback to Product Development team for improving product specs, new models & packaging.
