A Distributor Development Manager is responsible for defining and implementing route-to-market strategies and distributor management to ensure sustainable growth and profitability of products in the market. Key duties include developing distributor networks and relationships, recruiting appropriate partners, driving distributor performance through assessment of business and financial KPIs, and improving distributor capabilities and operational efficiency. They also provide guidance to enhance sales fundamentals and execution, lead business development initiatives for new channels or segments, and develop tailored selling processes for different market areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Defining route-to-market strategies and solutions tailored to specific regions or markets.
  • Leading and monitoring distributor performance including return on investment (ROI) assessments.
  • Building strong distributor networks and recruiting suitable distribution partners.
  • Driving sales engagement and distributor capability development via training and coaching.
  • Assessing training needs for distributors and sales teams and implementing development programs.
  • Overseeing distributor stock data accuracy and contract negotiation in conjunction with legal and regional teams.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations relevant to distribution operations.
  • Using data and technology systems to optimize distributor performance and supply chain processes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹8,141.28 - ₹48,173.72 per month
