The Distributor Sales Representative will be responsible for developing industrial lubricant sales in the Surat region. The role includes generating new business, maintaining existing customers, conducting product promotions, coordinating logistics, and ensuring monthly sales targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new industrial customers (engineering, textiles, plastics, foundry, fabrication, etc.).
- Promote the distributor’s lubricant portfolio — hydraulic oils, gear oils, cutting fluids, greases, knitting oils, compressor oils, etc.
- Conduct plant visits, technical discussions, and product demos.
- Generate enquiries and convert them into orders.
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with Purchase Managers, Maintenance Heads, and Store In-charges.
- Follow up on product performance, trials, technical issues, and feedback.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints.
3. Sales Targets & Reporting
- Achieve monthly volume and revenue targets fixed by the distributor/company.
- Prepare daily visit reports (DVR) and weekly sales forecasts.
- Track competition activities and pricing trends.
4. Order & Payment Coordination
- Coordinate order processing, dispatch, and delivery with the distributor.
- Ensure timely payment collection as per the credit terms.
- Maintain proper documentation (DC, invoice copies, sample issue records).
5. Market Intelligence
- Identify new industrial clusters within Surat and surrounding areas.
- Update on competitor brands, schemes, and new customer opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills RequiredEducation
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Any Graduate (preferred).
Experience
- 1–5 years in Industrial Lubricant Sales / Industrial Products / Cutting Oils / Grease sales.
- Fresher with strong field interest may also be considered.
Skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Basic technical understanding of lubricants.
- Ability to handle field visits and achieve targets.
- Two-wheeler mandatory.

Contract length: 6 months
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
