Basic Function:
The Web Administrator provides leadership and technical expertise in the design, development, management, and ongoing support of the Portland Public Schools (PPS) public-facing websites and internal intranet systems. This position ensures the District’s web and intranet presence is accessible, up to date with current and accurate information, user-friendly, secure, and aligned with the district’s communication goals, branding guidelines, and educational mission. The Web Administrator collaborates closely with departments, schools, and stakeholders to ensure timely content updates and compliance with digital accessibility standards. The Web Administrator will also participate in the development and implementation of policies and practices related to website and social media usage and compliance.
