Job Purpose
The Dive Operations Supervisor is a site-based role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational execution of all dive center activities within the assigned asset.
This role ensures the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of diving and marine-based experiences by coordinating dive logistics, managing schedules, and supporting operational teams. The Dive Operations Supervisor works closely with the Dive Center Manager and instructional team to maintain the highest standards of safety, service delivery, and operational readiness.
The position plays a key role in bridging operational planning and on-ground execution, ensuring a seamless guest experience within a luxury marine tourism environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. General Responsibilities

Support the Dive Center Manager in the daily operational management of the dive center.

Coordinate and oversee all dive operations, ensuring smooth execution of schedules and activities.

Supervise operational staff, including instructors, dive masters, boat crew, and support teams.

Ensure all operations are aligned with company policies, procedures, and service standards.

Maintain a professional and organized operational environment across all dive center facilities.
2. Pre-Opening Support
-
Assist in the planning, setup, and operational readiness of dive center infrastructure and systems.

Support cross-functional teams during the delivery phase to ensure operational requirements are met.

Contribute to the development of operational procedures, schedules, and workflows.
3. Operational Responsibilities (Post-Opening)

Plan and manage daily dive schedules, including staff allocation, boat coordination, and equipment readiness.

Ensure all dive activities are conducted safely, professionally, and in compliance with training agency standards.

Oversee guest flow from check-in through to completion of activities, ensuring a seamless experience.

Coordinate diver logistics, including briefings, site allocation, and timing of departures and returns.

Monitor weather and sea conditions to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Ensure accurate documentation of daily operations, including dive logs, manifests, and activity reports.

Support guest engagement, resolving operational issues and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

Liaise with boat captains, technicians, and instructors to ensure alignment and readiness.
4. Health, Safety, Environment & Quality

Ensure safety remains the top priority across all dive operations.

Enforce compliance with safety protocols, emergency procedures, and risk assessments.

Conduct regular safety checks and operational audits.

Promote environmental responsibility and sustainable diving practices.

Ensure all activities comply with local regulations and company standards.
5. Policies, Procedures & Reporting

Adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and operational guidelines.

Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and documentation.

Provide regular updates to management on operational performance, risks, and guest feedback.
6. Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, guest experience, and safety standards.

Support the implementation of best practices and process improvements.

Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
-
Certified Divemaster or Scuba Instructor (e.g., PADI, SSI, or equivalent).

Proven experience in dive center operations, including logistics coordination and team supervision.

Strong understanding of dive operations, scheduling, and marine logistics.
-
Experience working in a commercial dive or tourism environment.
-
Knowledge of diving health and safety standards.
-
Experience in hospitality or luxury tourism environments is an advantage.
