DescriptionAs the Divisional Director - Women, Children, and Youth you'll work in partnership with the Director of Nursing and Midwifery - Operations of the Division of Women, Children and Youth across Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospitals.
You'll be accountable for the safety and quality, financial and operational management of the Division. The Divisional Directors, through strategic leadership and their membership of the RDH and PRH Executive Team, drive divisional performance, achieve organisational targets and implement the highest standards of clinical and corporate governance within the NT Health Values. The Medical Divisional Director will contribute to the overall leadership and management of RDH and PRH, and the achievement of the RDH and PRH Strategic Priorities.
The FacilitiesRoyal Darwin Hospital (RDH) is a 370-bed facility located in the northern suburbs of Darwin. It serves as the tertiary referral hospital for the Top End of the NT and provides a wide range of acute and specialist medical services to urban, regional, and remote communities across the Top End and beyond.
RDH is a tertiary teaching hospital affiliated with Flinders University, Charles Darwin University, the Menzies School of Health Research, and the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre
Palmerston Regional Hospital (PRH) is a 116-bed facility located 20km south of Darwin. It operates as an extension of RDH and is a sub-acute service hospital.
