About the Role: Administration Officer - Clinical Excellence

The Administration Officer - Clinical Excellence will provide administrative and operational support to the Chief Medical Officer and Clinical Excellence team to promote safe and quality patient care in the delivery of programs and services.

This role will support the Clinical Excellence team to analyse, report and share clinical health data in line with internal and external governance.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Previous experience in a medical records / administration role within a health care setting dealing with confidential records.
  • High level of administrative skills and experience in administrative procedures for management of documents and maintenance of records.
  • The ability to produce detailed and accurate records and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently with strong organisational skills and demonstrated ability to plan, manage and prioritise tasks and to deliver outcomes within tight timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders across a range of cultures and professions.
  • Demonstrated high level computer skills using the Microsoft Office suite of programs as well as the ability to use clinical practice software.
  • The ability to interpret complex requirements and implement practical procedures and outcomes.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills with an ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
  • Qualification or working towards qualification in Health Administration/quality auditing or other relevant qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting clinical audits.
  • Demonstrated experience and competency in working with Communicare.
  • Experience in working in an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service or similar complex environment.
